Bear Housing is a student-run sublease board for UC Berkeley students. Please review the rules below before posting or contacting a lister.

Eligibility

  • This platform is for UC Berkeley students only.
  • You must register with a valid @berkeley.edu email address.

Prohibited Content

  • Scams, fake listings, or misleading information.
  • Requests for upfront deposits before viewing a unit.
  • Discriminatory language or preferences beyond lawful housing rules in the State of California.

Safety Guidelines

  • Meet in person when possible before committing.
  • Verify the identity of the other party.
  • Do not send money without a written agreement.
